Magnolia Physical Therapy is an outpatient, orthopedic and sports physical therapy clinic in the heart of Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood. Magnolia Physical Therapy offers innovative one on one physical therapy treatments with emphasis on exercise and education. In addition, Magnolia Physical Therapy offers running biomechanical assessments for healthy and injured runners.

Magnolia Physical Therapy is owned and operated by David Self, PT, DPT, OCS .  Dave has always had in interest in treating athletes and began working with student athletes at Central Washington University. He had the opportunity to intern with the Seattle Seahawks as a new grad for two season before entering physical therapy school at Eastern Washington University. Since 1999 Dave has been fortunate to gain experience working with a wide range of orthopedic conditions. Dave continued his education, earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (Ola Grimsby Institute) in 2003 and became a board certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS- American Physical Therapy Association) in 2008.

Dave enjoys spending his free time with his wife (Kelly), and three children (Charlie, Katie, and Josie. Dave is an avid backpacker, having walked over 1200 miles along the Pacific Crest Trail (before Wild). Dave enjoys running and has completed a half dozen marathons, multiple half marathons, and a few triathlons along the way.
