MOTIVATION AND STORY

I first met Dave Self in 2015 when he treated my husband for a shoulder injury. We were heading out on a trip within a few weeks and my husband was in so much pain and in no condition to travel. I contacted Dave and despite his office being closed over the weekend he offered to see my husband on a Sunday and opened his office to treat him. In my opinion, this speaks volumes about a persons character. As a result, when I needed physical therapy for a head injury and ongoing headaches that did not go away after 2 years of treatment by other medical professionals I sought treatment with Dave. Within a few treatments with Dave, my headaches went away and my corresponding neck pain was relieved. Dave is a consummate professional who knows how to provide relief for whatever ails you. Over the years, Dave has treated me for a number of issues - including ankle, knee, shoulder, back, neck and arm injuries and in all cases, Dave has provided me with great relief without my having to resort to surgery. I highly recommend Dave if you need relief for whatever ails you. In addition to being a great physical therapist, Dave is a very caring professional who truly cares about each and everyone of his patients. Since I receive such great care and relief from Dave, I now refuse to have anyone but Dave treat me and I have never been disappointed in my care with him. The office staff at Magnolia Physical Therapy are warm and caring individuals which provide a great environment for healing. If you are looking for relief and need physical therapy, don’t hesitate to contact Magnolia Physical Therapy for treatment, you will not be disappointed.

Friends recommended Magnolia Physical Therapy and I'm glad they did. Having been a patient of the other PT practice in Magnolia as well as one of the major health care organizations downtown, I was hoping for ``better`` - and with Magnolia PT to say my expectations have been exceeded is an understatement. Dr. Self is someone involved pretty much everywhere around Magnolia, and that says a lot about the commitment of Magnolia PT to our community. Dr. Clevenger has been incredibly helpful in taking a long term, painful injury and moving me toward an excellent outcome. Her knowledge and expertise has been peerless and I am very grateful for that!

Kailey Campbell is an excellent therapist. She is professional yet friendly so that an hour workout seems to fly by. I felt very confident in her abilities after the first visit and have continued to be impressed with her knowledge.

I had a total reverse shoulder replacement which is a hard surgery to regain range of motion. I know I would not be able to use my arm and shoulder as I do without Kailey’s expertise and guidance.

I have been to several physical therapy facilities in Seattle over the past 20 years. My experience with physical therapy had been absolute torture until an injured back brought me to Magnolia Physical Therapy. I received a complete analysis and was given exercises to work on. I love that fact that my exercises are on my iPhone, so I can bring them with me anywhere. Magnolia Physical Therapy has restored my faith in PT. They have a number of dedicated professionals and give you a plan to reach your goals. I am extremely grateful to them for restoring me. Try them out. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been seeing Dave Self for several years. He’s as knowledgeable as they get, able to determine what’s really driving my difficulties, and finding the right modalities. My son now sees Dave and his team, and is similarly happy with the results he’s getting. The team Dave has built is equally talented and thus equally helpful. Dave and his people are consummate professional.

Molly Clevenger, DPT is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. She has seen me through three different rehabs and given me the tools to retain the effects of the rehab. I highly recommend her, without any reservations! I. Have recommended her to friends and family who have had the same great results.

I was referred to Magnolia Physical Therapy for sciatica relief. Malia was amazing in providing insight to causes and also stretches for core strengthening to ensure long term issues would not return. I also worked with Jill, who was equally amazing. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is the best Physical Therapist in Seattle. I highly recommend from injury recovery or kinesiology heath for active individuals. I discovered Dr Self at a time i needed help from injury. He addressed the recovery process in an easy to understand plan with homework to assist in my recovery time. I continue to visit his practice in order to maintain healthy movements in my challenging active lifestyle.

Can't say enough about MPT...was ready for shoulder surgery and Dave brought me back without the knife. I sent my mother-in-law to him and she gave me a nice gift cert for the referral as he performed a miracle on her as well. I nice to be able to refer friends/family to someone who knows what their doing. Glowing reviews from other referees too but no gift cards yet. 🙂

Following a hip arthroscopy I saw Valerie Lavesque for PT. I would highly recommend Valerie for anyone recovering from this surgery. She knew exactly the right exercises to recommend at every step, has great understanding of hip anatomy, and she was encouraging and inspiring along the way. I am six months out, and my hip feels great. Thanks, Valerie!

I am very fortunate to have walked through the Magnolia PT door, a wise choice indeed. Molly and Katherine always make my biweekly scheduling a clear breeze. My primary therapist, Jillian Erickson, took over for Malia Dettori and both are outstanding, brilliant professionals with valued knowledge that get results. I have had ongoing questions all of which have been answered in reassuring detail. I am in week seven and still have weeks to go yet I am light years ahead of where I started. I had a rotator cuff surgery and a carpal tunnel surgery. Kudos to all at this great PT clinic. And as a retired physician believe me, I know. So if you need PT then do yourself a big favor and get in here.

Malia Dettori is one of the best physical therapists in Seattle. Malia has helped me recover from a couple of very different injuries. Malia supported my goal of returning stronger and better before I was injured. Malia helped me stay focued on the goal when exercises were challenging. Thank you.

Dave is an outstanding Physical Therapist with years of experience. He is a great general therapist with a specialty in running and sports therapy. My shoulder was still giving me problems 11 months after surgery and after a little more than a month with Dave, I can sleep again and I'm not thinking about it all the time. I anticipate a full recovery with Dave's help. Highly recommended.
